HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 2

Directing that the bridge spanning
the South Fork of the South
Branch of the Potomac River
at the community of Peru in
Hardy County, West Virginia,
be named the "Peru Community
Bridge."
Whereas, A bridge spanning the
South Fork of the South Branch of
the Potomac River is located in the
community of Peru, situate in the
county of Hardy; and
Whereas, The bridge is used by
the many citizens of the community
of Peru; and
Whereas, The citizens of Peru
have been singularly dedicated to
maintaining the pristine
habitability of their community;
and
Whereas, Naming the bridge at
Peru in honor of the community
would be a fitting tribute to the
many remarkable citizens who
inhabit the area; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of
West Virginia:
That the bridge spanning the
South Fork of the South Branch of
the Potomac River at the community
of Peru in Hardy County, West
Virginia, be named and referred to
as the Peru Community Bridge; and,
be it
Further Resolved, That the
Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the
Peru Community Association, the
County Commission of Hardy County,
West Virginia, and the Secretary of
the West Virginia Department of
Transportation.
